Chiricahua National Monument is best described as a Wonderland of Rocks, with a vast array rock spires, which developed over time after the Turkey Creek Volcano eruption 27 million years ago. The park features a beautiful eight mile paved scenic drive in addition to 18 miles of day-use hiking trails.

If you have a large family, there may not be a better outdoors spot for a picnic or gathering than Kiwanis Park. Set aside from the playing fields, just over the hill from the lake, are a pair of covered tables. Each table holds 20 people with a six foot BBQ grill right there for use!
