Visitors to the Desert Botanical Garden will be able to explore 50 acres of outdoor exhibits. This is one of the only places where you can see nearly 140 endangered plants from areas around the world. You will be awed by the beauty of the area’s natural desert plants as well.

If you have a large family, there may not be a better outdoors spot for a picnic or gathering than Kiwanis Park. Set aside from the playing fields, just over the hill from the lake, are a pair of covered tables. Each table holds 20 people with a six foot BBQ grill right there for use! How's that for hosting your large family.
