Scottsdale is home to nearly a dozen fascinating museums with fascinating exhibits preserving local and state history. In 1884, the Payson Rodeo began. It is considered the oldest continuous rodeo anywhere and is held at the Payson in August. This three-day event incorporates the rodeo with parade on, lots of music, dancing and other special neighborhood events.
