Walk through History at Fort Bowie National Historic Site. A visit to this military fort is highly recommended for anyone interested in the course of American history. It was the site of the Bascom Affair, a wagon train massacre, and the battle of Apache Pass.

Not all gated neighborhoods include resort-style recreational facilities. Most have a community pool and clubhouse but others may not. Some smaller developments offer no more than a playground for the kids or a natural open area where residents can walk their dog.
